The lighting storm that happened throughout the jungle just behind them and the now looming dark clouds over top of them, made them believe that rain was coming and that they could finally quench their thirst. Blight, Johanna, Wiress and Beetee had been wandering around the jungle in search for Katniss, Peeta, Mags, and Finnick, and were now getting dehydrated. Twelve tolls from a bell at midnight starting the second day signaled that the bloodbath was over and that the clock had started. Johanna and Blight then managed to drag Beetee out of there and retrieve Wiress before escaping the massacre. Beetee ran to retrieve his wire from the Cornucopia, but was stabbed when he got there by Enobaria. By the time he and Johanna got to the Cornucopia, Katniss was long gone and Beetee had recently arrived.
